CQS accreditation demonstrates to clients, Lenders and the wider residential conveyancing community the high level of competency exhibited at Hubbard Pegman and Whitney.
Your lender is the organisation who funds the mortgage or loan that allows you to buy your home. We are on Lender Exchange and LMS which allows us to cut delays in communication between lenders and our firm, speeding up the process for our clients. We are also on the panel of most lenders so whether you are using a primary lender directly, through a mortgage broker or indeed using a secondary market lender you can rest assured that we as a firm have the experience and skills to navigate you safely through the complex process of purchasing your property, including staying within the deadlines set by your chosen lender.
As well as greater access to lenders meaning we can represent more clients in their purchase transactions CQS accreditation also displays that we:
Buying or selling a property is for many the most substantial transaction they will undertake in their lives, bearing the CQS Quality mark shows we follow a best practice that clients can trust.
Accreditation should reassure clients that we are among the best options to provide advice in residential conveyancing matters and assist you with understanding the process, timeframes and advise you on any necessary costs and disbursements.
Being a member of the CQS also means we follow The Law Society’s Conveyancing protocol. The Law Society’s Conveyancing Protocol (the Protocol) came into force on 1 April 2011 and is mandatory for members of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). The Protocol sets out the Law Society’s preferred practice in both freehold and leasehold residential conveyancing transactions and gives conveyancers a set of principles to improve the conveyancing process — making it more efficient and consistent. The Protocol sets out a good practice approach and aims to ensure that buyers’ and sellers’ solicitors cooperate together to prevent unnecessary delay.
The main differentiator between our conveyancing department and those of other firms is the personal relationships we build with our clients. The vast majority of our clients return to us with their subsequent property transactions due to the fact that the fee earner is always accessible with a considerate and patient approach to a client’s unique situation. This coupled with consistent and professional advice as well as a willingness to go beyond the usual allows our firm to enjoy consistently positive feedback and glowing testimonials.
Our Conveyancing team is supported and enriched by other services we provide at the firm: Probate (including contentious), Property Litigation, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury and Professional Negligence.
